Hope you are all surviving the mid-sem assessments!
Below are the updates for the upcoming week.
I have attached training materials for both week 3 and week 4 internals. Apologies for the delay in week 3.
If you are interested in practising some debating with good topics set by external adjudicators over the weekend, make sure you sign up to Fall! It will be a good chance to sass out the dynamics in your Easters team.

Congratulations to everyone who trialled! We are immensely proud of your commitment and efforts over the last week and a half. If you have any query about the trial outcome, please ask Penny (our External VP). We will announce the list of teams and adjudicators soon.
Hope you have a great week and good luck with assessments!
Sorry for the late update, I waited to collect some training material from Pro Am yesterday.
Thank you for all who attended internal/ Pro Am last week, we are glad to see your enthusiasm.
As you can see in the attachments, I have included the training materials from Week 2 Internals and 2 additional training slides we used at ProAm Internal Intensive yesterday. In order the first three are the slides from Pro Am, and the next two are from Internal 2 in Week 2. The aim is that those who did not attend will get to catch up on what we have learned so far, and keep coming back to practise.
Trialling for Easters (the first major tournament of the year) is up and live. Remember to sign-up if you are interested in a bit more practice with people from other institutions over a 5-day intensive with 3 preliminary rounds each day for the first 2 days, and a break into the finals over the next two days. The tournament is about development, so each team will consist of 2 novices (people who are new to debating) and 1 pro (people who have competed at university tournaments).
You can sign up as either an adjudicator or a debater for this tournament. The trials for debaters are happening from Wed 8 March to Thu 16 March over a week. The trial will also be a good chance for you to practise debating.
